La Cigale: Why is my boutique filled with such a collection of colours, shapes and styles? I lived most of my childhood in Casablanca, Morocco - a wonder of contrasts: From the snowy Atlas mountains, the long isolated beaches of Agadir, to the hustle, bustle and bursts of colour of the Souk in Marrakech. Such an experience has given me the opportunity to travel though many centuries… of carpet weavers, artisans working leather, copper, silver and gold. From Morocco, I went on to live in the South of France, Singapore, Teheran Iran, Sydney Australia and Marin County, California. All of which have opened my eyes and heart to many more artisans, artists story tellers and sunsets. My greatest gift today is to connect some of my experiences (through La Cigale) to all those that may drop in while travelling their own journey.
